Seventh Session of IPPC Commission on Phytosanitary Measures

The Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM) is the Governing Body of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). CPM 7 will consider, among other issues: a robust international standard setting and implementation programme; sustainable implementation of the IPPC; improved phytosanitary capacity of members; information exchange systems appropriate to meet IPPC obligations; international promotion of the IPPC and cooperation with relevant regional and international organizations; review of the status of plant protection in the world; and effective dispute settlement systems.
